Robin is a great instructor! She is on time and once she gets in the pool is instantly engaging with my kids. She knows how to get them to do what she wants them to do by knowing their personalities, working with their strengths and not pushing them to do something they don't want to do. She earns their trust and encourages them along the way. My kids look forward to Coach Robin coming over and while they are having fun, more importantly they are learning how to swim and be safe and confident in the pool (2 yo) and improving swim skills (4yo) which is amazing just after 4, 30 min lessons. I found Sunsational Swim School as I was searching for an instructor to give the kids a 12 day crash course for swimming before we left for our summer vacation! Sunsantional Swim is a professional company that helps you get the right fit for your child! I highly recommend them to anyone. I tried two other companies before finding Sunsantional and the lack of customer service they had was very frustrating but it was a blessing in disguise because Sunsational helped me right away and assured me they would find me the right fit for my kids. The instructor Kristin is excellent with working with my child to help him gain confidence and learn to swim! She is patient yet authoritative with my three year old. If he can't focus on one task she changes it up to something different so he is constantly learning and challenging him with new things. My son was timid to get in the pool at first but now looks forward to his lessons! He respects her as a teacher yet thinks of her as a friend.

After trying for 2 summers to teach my 5 year-old daughter to swim on my own, I finally realized I needed professional help. I found Sunsational Swim School and purchased a 12 lesson package (the lessons were 30 minutes each) which we used over the course of 4 weeks, so 3 lessons weekly. We were matched with Patrick, who turned out to be a wonderful swim instructor. Starting out, my daughter had little confidence in the water and was unable to swim on her own. After a few lessons she was confident and excited about swimming and by the end of the program she was able to swim across the pool by herself, float for over a minute, and dive for rings with confidence. She is a totally different kid in the water and I feel great relief knowing she is water safe. I attribute this all to Patrick's knowledge and experience, teaching abilities, and patience. Anastasia taught my son to swim in a very short period of time. He is 5, already comfortable in the water, but could only play on the steps of the pool without his floaties. In 2 lessons he was able to swim short distances by himself and by the end of his 5th lesson with her he was swimming the length of the pool! I feel so much more comfortable with his swimming abilities now. Anastasia was very calm and patient with him, even when he was nervous and even those times when he was tired and not listening.

We were matched with Miss Jaqueline for swim lessons and absolutely love her! She was very flexible and always on time. She was amazing with my 2 1/2 year old son. He is fairly strong-willed and she remained patient with him always. She communicated with me about my goals for him and what was important to me to have him learn while also focusing on pool safety and basic skills. She brought fun/practical toys to really engage my son. Every time he did something that was being ask of him he then got to play for a minute before moving on to the next thing. My son went from hating back floats (kicking, crying, flailing his arms) to floating calmly and holding still on top of the water all by himself. She definitely knows how to motivate a stubborn 2 1/2 year old and make swimming a lot of fun! My son asks me all the time if Miss Jacqueline could come over to swim with him again.

Travis G. is an excellent swim instructor. He is great with kids, confident in his swim instruction and very enthusiastic. He kept my 6 year old son focused on the task, which is not always an easy thing to do. I liked that he discussed with me, after the 1st session, what his intentions were, which included a lot of repetition, and that I was able to tell him my goals, which were water safety in the event my son were to fall into a deep body of water. He met and surpassed those goals. My son likes the deep end now, whereas before the lessons, he did not know how to tread water and would have been afraid of the deep end. Repetition really does work. Travis was easy to schedule with and made good full use of each 30 minute lesson. My son definitely had a workout and there was not any wasted time. Yet Travis was also able to recognize when my son needed to have some control, by incorporating choices when appropriate.
