Hi, My name is Pete and I've been teaching swim lessons for 15+ years, ages 3-17. I have 12 years of teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience 1st Grade-High School. I have certifications to teach EC-8th Grade, ESL and Special Needs K-12. I received my undergrad degree from Notre Dame and later received my Masters in Education from the University of Bridgeport. I have worked as a Child Development and Aquatic Director, swim and lifeguard instructor and trainer.
Teaching swimmers to be comfortable, safe and to have fun in the water is something I will always do. Communication and understanding is key to helping someone overcome their fears of the water. It's amazing to see!

I went to school at UT Austin and earned a degree in mathematics. I love to teach swimming to all ages because I feel like anyone can be a good swimmer and everyone should at least know how to swim.
