I graduated from Bonita High school, I played waterpolo and competed in swim for 4 years there. Hi, my name is Akilah Martin and I've been teaching swim lessons for 6 years and since I was 16. I have taught a wide range of age groups but predominantly children and babies with a few adult classes mixed in. The children have ranged in all ages from 6 or 7 months to 16 or 17 and a few have been special needs kids. I recently graduated from UCR in 2016 with my Bachelor's in Public Policy. I love teaching swim lessons and working with kids which is why I have been doing it for so long.
Hi, my name is Audry. I've been a lifeguard and a swim instructor for 2 years. I have worked with children for a total of 7 years. During the school year I run an after school program and tutor on the side. I have worked with children of all ages, from babies to teenagers and with adults as well. I have experience with working with children with special needs. I currently attend Cal Poly Pomona and am majoring in business administration.

Hello my name is Mike, I've been swimming every year for over 30 years now. In high school and college I was the goalie and team captain. I also received the coaches award (#1 goalie of the year from all the coaches in San Bernardino county). I've been teaching kids of all ages how to swim and how to play water polo for over 30 years now and it's still fun. From May to September I try to swim at least 30 laps in my pool every day. I also enjoy teaching music and art.

I worked as a swim instructor, lifeguard and as a supervisor at the Janet Evans Swim Complex in Fullerton for 8 years, where I was trained with a program from Swim America, a very effective system that breaks down each stroke in a way that helps children and adults learn how to swim. Hi, my name is Leana and I have loved the water since I was an infant. I swam and assisted with swim lessons at RCC for 3 years before joining a city swim team. I also swam for my high school and college, assistant coaching with those teams for 6 years and I have been a certified lifeguard for the past 5 years. I have tutored and worked with students ages 4 to 22 both in the classroom and in the water. I went to the Claremont Colleges and earned my degree in International Studies in 2016.

Hi! My name is Darian! I've been teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding for the past two summers, with classes ranging from mommy and me all the way to adults! I was previously a 12 and under water polo coach. I swam competitively for 4 years and I am entering my 5th year of water polo. I am currently attending a community college to become an elementary school teacher.
